4th week in GSM

Wow.... long long didnt update my blog... 1st will talk bout the 1st test in my MBA life. One word to describe it.. HARD... really sad. not enough time to finish it plus I didnt even know how to do it haha.... I guess most of our course mates also find it hard. Thus, to release our tension after the test we planned to go SING K...but end up the place we chosen not that reasonable due to some factors and we end up in sunway pyramid for bowling session and steamboat in YUEN. It was a really fun day since it is the 1st ever GSM outing. Although only 14 of us coz not everyone went with us but it is still a memorable fun day.

Next when i was freaking bz with the week coz i need to finish my individual assignment 2 plus individual presentation plus the take home test. Out of a sudden, news from UPM said that UPM will be quarantine for 1 week due to H1N1. Haha... Mixed feeling at tht time but actually is freaking happy coz i just left my unfinished work there. Muahahahaha. However, I already manage finish one of the assignment. 2more to go before back to uni... :(

Third, another happy news is that I finally and at last found a house in Kantan Court. Very satisfied with the conditions there. Full furnished with washing machine (I like this the most coz I does not need to bring home my clothes), fridge, kitchen, water heater( this is great too since I like hot water), sofa, tables, and also beds. Conclusion, the house have everything and it is very clean. I can feel it is like a house. After been searching houses to houses, finally this is the best best house ever. And we fall in love to the house once we entered in. I think all my housemates do agree with me.. hahahaha... Although the price is more expensive than we expected but it is definitely worth it since it is fully furnish. We will shift in on 4th Aug 2009. Cant wait the day... :P

3rd week... 1st presentation

Today is my 1st group presentation in my masters life. As predicted, I'm as scared as before when i need to present in the front. Moreover, I'm the 1st presenter. Luckily everything goes smoothly and I'm quite happy the presentation finally end.

Next worry is my mid term exam which will be tomorrow. Sad thing, I haven started to study and I need to finished 5chapters in a nite. Gosh. I hope i really can finish study everything.

Guess after tomorrow might be free a lil. Juz a lil only. Why?? Coz monday will have a bring home test, a case study that need to complete it then fri need to hand in one of the individual assignment plus individual presentation. Gosh. Presentation AGAIN. And this time is individual presentation for 4 min. haih.

Tough 1 year of MBA life man. And i not even halfway thru the course. This is only the 3rd week. But actually it is equal to half trimester already. Now, I only thinking of OB OB OB and OB. EXAM EXAM EXAM.... need to back to my study.... :(

Convo... Convo.. Convo...

Finally, my convo date is announced by the UPM. Slow and inefficiency service compare with other uni. All uni had knew their convo date much much more earlier than us. Sigh. UPM.. UPM...Anyway, it is good news for me since my convo fall on Sunday... Super Happy... Since I can expect more family members and friends turn up on that day. Hehe... This year the 33rd yrs convo is on 8-12 Aug 2009. It might be unlucky for those convo fall on either Monday or Tuesday. Although, I'm happy that my convo is on Sun but too bad it is the evening section. Hoping it was morning section. But i think still acceptable since it is on weekend. Kinda excited to have my very own convo soon in 3 weeks time. All my hard work in degree for 3 yrs life, trying to get a good good thesis to fulfill my supervisor expectation, trying to finished all the assignments, study like a mad for exams and finally it is my CONVO on 9 AUGUST 2009. Everyone is welcome to attend my convo, don't forget to bring me flowers and teddy bear. Haha...

1 week life in MBA

I have finally attended 1 week of lectures in my masters life. And also passed up my 1st group PBL assignments. Another assignment due on coming thu. Argg.. and I only manage to write one paragraph only. haha..

Talk about my masters life, I mange to know more friends although still trying to remember every single one in my class. My class only have 37 people and I think we will be seeing the same person, attending same classes n time throughout the year. This is because we are a lil special. 1 year course compared with normal duration which is 1.5 years. Proud to be the 1st batch. Hehe..

Although everyday i only need to attend 3 n half lectures but most of my time is busy with assignments. Thus, deciding to stay out with my coursemates in Serdang area for the next coming 1 year. Have yet to decide which place to stay. Really hope to stay in Sri Pinang but seems like no available houses or rooms. But we doesn't mind to stay in Kantan Court also. Since we think there is a house available for us. Will let my coursemate decide the places. ;p Also need to thanks one of my coursemate who help us find house even he doesn't need to find hse for himself. Thank you Dai Lou....

Will blog again next time. Time to finished my assign asap because tomolo plan to go JCard day in MV. Yay....shopping spreee again...

1st day in GSM

1st day of class. Wow, already started to feel the stress. Haha. This is because PBL1 is given out on first day while we or to be more specific ME a NOOB know nothing about this subject Accounting in Decision Making. For your info, PBL actually stand for Problem Based Learning something which is also called Student Learning Center. In a more simple word, group discussion la. Haha.. Luckily tomorrow no classes so i have more time to prepare my studies and try to do the task given. Love tuesday now as I don't have classes every Tue. The nightmare start here with no more free day, play and relaxing. No Weekend. No leisure. Since i don't have strong background in business. It might be a difficulty for me to cope with the subjects. So i need to put more efforts than others. Each subject need to be a B (3.00) for me to graduated. Hoping no no C's in my results. And please please bring me all the A's to my results. Haha.

So lets talk about my course....
Since our fees is quite expensive so it included the text books too. Each subject have one text book. The text book is as thick like a encyclopedia. Gosh. And i have to finished study the whole book in just 6 weeks. 6 weeks plus 2 thick encyclopedia text books + assignments + weekly class involvement. I hope i really can cope with it. Pray hard. Haha.

Today i also saw one of my ex secondary school mate senior talking MBA as well. Also, one of my ex form 6 classmate taking it as well. Both of them took 1.5 years so we were not in same classes. My batch is the 1st batch offering students to complete in a year. My class have around 37 students so far registered complete the course in a year. The different between 1.5 yrs and 1 yr is those 1.5 yrs will take 4 subjects in 14 weeks meaning the whole sem. But for 1yr they only need to take 2 subjects for the 1st 7 weeks including final exam and another 2 subjects for another 7 weeks in a sem. So for each subject, 1yr will complete the subject in just 7 weeks while 1.5yrs is 14weeks. Actually we are the 1st batch so we consider the white mouse la. Hehe..

1st day of class of course it is tiring. Since we have briefing at 2.30 till 4.30pm. Almost whole day out. Listen listen and listen. So far I love the situation Im now being a postgraduate student. It is awesome. Tonight will have good rest and start my studies tomorrow. Hard work is a MUST to excel in my masters.

MBA starting soon...

My holidays is ending soon. I will start my MBA in GSM, UPM next monday. Classes will be Mon, Wed, Thu and Fri each week from 9.00am to 12.30pm. Really looking forward the day to come since I already holiday for quite some time. Almost 2 months eating, movie-ing, shopping, playing and sleeping. Now it is time for STUDYING. Haha. I also received the PTPTN loan but the amount is too lil not even enough for the whole course fees. Hopefully can get other scholarships and also the 10k sponsorship from the gov.

Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

Another block bluster movie is OUT. Well just watch Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs on Friday. This movie is freaking funny. Definitely recommended to watch it. I am sure you will have a great 1 and half hours laughing in the cinema. I didn't manage to catch the 3D version since it is kinda expensive RM17. Since my friend have a free voucher to catch any movies for free in TGV, we go for the normal version. The next looking forward movie will be Harry Potter. Will review it once i watched it. Haha.
